One of my favorite Arthurian myths, so many tales talks about how Arthur actually got the sword. One story says that the Lady of the Lake gave it to him before his reign. Another story claims that a sorcerer procured the sword and gave it to Arthur, a man named Myrddin Emrys, Merlin Ambrosius, or simply as his friends call him, Merlin. I've always held a special place in my heart for the illusive sage. Here for this piece I thought of a tale I’d heard once, that after Arthur died, Merlin hid the sword from those that would use it for other then its true purpose. I only hope that if there is truth in myth, that Merlin might have had enough faith in people, to know another good soul might someday again wield it.
